MeetApp expands to Norway with new Account Manager

With increasing demand for event apps in Norway, the time is now ripe for MeetApp to expand. Our first step is to recruit a new colleague who will step into this new market and take care of relationships with both new and existing customers in Norway.

Already, we have a number of customers who continuously use MeetApp at their events and are very satisfied with both the solution and the support they receive from us. We see great potential in growing in a market that is in many ways similar to the Swedish one.

The plan ahead is to increase our presence both digitally and physically to maintain closer contact with current and potential customers. Our ambition is to take the same market-leading position in the Norwegian market as we currently have in Sweden.”

With his experience in increasing brand awareness and sales in new markets, Casper Rathsman will spread the MeetApp word in Norway.

Hi Casper, can you tell us a little about your background?

Before I came to MeetApp, I worked a couple of years as Brand Ambassador, representing brands like Google and iZettle. All of the projects and assignments I worked with so far have been characterized by digitalization, and they have often taken place during launches and a “Rapid Start” – where you quickly introduce a product or service in a new market and at the same time drive larger sales processes there.

Therefore, it feels natural and very fun to now be part of the MeetApp family, and I look forward to using the knowledge I have gained in driving sales and launching software and app-based solutions, when introducing MeetApp on the Norwegian market.

What are your aspirations and goals for MeetApp in Norway?

Old successes open the door for you, while new successes keep you in the room.

A prerequisite for success is that one must always be attentive and learn from your experiences. There are a number of different aspects that need to be tackled in a major launch – especially when entering a new market. Everything happens at a high pace, and everything that happens is not always planned, which for some can be seen as a setback. To get all the extensive processes connected to sales and marketing to sync can be a challenge, but as long as you can learn from your experiences, you’ll never have to see a setback as a loss.

In short – MeetApp is Sweden’s leading event app, and my goal is for us to take the lead in Norway as well.
